Common questions
Why not just use Cursor, Claude Code, or ChatGPT?
AI assistants are excellent collaborators - we use them every day. They are not built for the same job. GetAutomator reads your actual database, then emits a complete, deterministic project: JWT auth, role gates, prepared statements, tests, Docker, OpenAPI - already wired up. Same schema in, same code out, every time. No prompt-engineering, no hallucinations to review, no tokens metered. Use AI for the interesting 20% (refactor, explain, custom logic). Use GetAutomator for the boring 80% (CRUD, auth, plumbing) so you stop typing it.
Can I use the generated code commercially?
Yes. The code GetAutomator generates is yours to use freely - in client projects, your own SaaS, internal tools, anything. The templates that produce it are licensed under your subscription.
What happens after the 6-month license window?
When your license expires the tool stops generating code, but every project you already generated is yours forever - royalty-free. Renew for a smaller flat fee to extend another 6 months. App binary updates are always free.
Can I refund a purchase?
Within 14 days of purchase, yes - full refund, no questions asked. You don't need to have activated the license first. After 14 days, refunds aren't available.
How many machines can I activate?
One machine per license. You can deactivate remotely from your account to free up the slot - useful when switching computers.
Does the app send my data anywhere?
Your database schema is read locally and never sent to our servers. Generated code never leaves your machine. The app only contacts our server for license validation and template updates.
What payment methods do you accept?
Credit cards, debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and SEPA via Stripe.
